S. Benedetto del Tronto<\/strong> is known as port basin<\/strong> but it is ready to discover its treasures and its legendary history which we\u2019ll tell you in the ancient part of the fishing village.<\/em><\/p>\n

The route starts in Sacconi Square<\/strong>, in the medieval part of S. Benedetto del Tronto: we\u2019ll tell you the glorious \u00a0Roman past of the Roman colony of S. Benedetto<\/strong>, discovering the treasures which were rediscovered in the square during the last archeological excavations. We\u2019ll visit the suggestive Gualtieri Tower<\/strong> with its medieval defensive asset. It was restored in the XIX century by the great architect Giuseppe Sacconi<\/strong>: we\u2019ll visit the tower inside and we\u2019ll reach its top where we\u2019ll see a beautiful view over the Adriatic Sea.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\t\t
